Todd Phillips Has been an AutoX contender in North Carolina since 2001 with his 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST and is currently developing the first Drift DSM ( a rwd configuration of the esteemed 93 AWD GSX) Todd is activley involved in one of NCs largest Mitsubishi/DSM information forums [www.CarolinaDSM.com]. Along with AUtoXing and Time Trials,Todd has Participated in NASA Max Attack Pro Rally. The team grasped 2nd place in the 2007 East Coast Max attack Pro Rally Championship. An avid collector of niche cars, Phillips also has a stash of whips that keeps him busy in his spare time. From an old Scout 4x4 to a cool 1970 air cooled V-Dub Karman Ghia. Phillips also dabbles in the more modern "super cars" with a modified Z06 and an stg 3 Audi S4 that he keeps around for 'good measure' and "The Wifey " A "wheel man" as it were, Todd is happiest at the track. Wether he's running an event or up at a local Dragway racing with friends or supporting another racer, thats where you'll find him . His Event Co-ordination background puts Todd right were he wants to be on event Day. On Site acting as Director of Operations and making sure everything goes as it should. Whilts trying to weasle in as many laps as possible. "

Cool. We'll see. We are definatley going up all weekend and Camping/ Spectating. + SWD is supporting 2 other drifters in competition.. We'll have Brian's big truck and the S4 probably. Not sure if the DriftSM will make it. Lots i'd like to do with it, they have a RallyCross and a Gymkhana on the ticket.

Sweet!! I didn't realize I took FTD!.. Man that was a fun little "Gymkana" course. I just loved being all surgical with those mini skid pads and figure 8's i've never had so much fun with the car. Couldn't believe DG Trials didn't have clearance for ride alongs, SO many people wanted to ride in the Vette. I could have "demo'd and put on a mini drift clinic all day. I swear, NEXT YEAR SWD will be running that skid pad and it will be awesome.

Wake up call The Woo Wooooo Remix song was funny..+ (5K 2step + bouncing off rev limiter Burn out in the tent city) THat was for CNEA and that silly giggling girl that kept me up all night, Jesus christ I was like.. Somebody put a sock in her mouth ! yeah Good Times.

Drift DSM ( The Alarm Clock) made its 3rd appearance @ GTLive/ Octoberfest on Saturday gymkana but was cut short by me being an idiot and accidentaly grounding a wire and fried the translator.. eh thats racin. Glad I went home to fetch the Vette

The 3 Drifters SWD was backing this weekend did very Well. Rob Fallows (SR20 S13) Qualified 4th. Dustin Qualed 13th and Mike 16th ( SR20 AE86's) I think. Rob got knocked out during a ONe more time Elimination but I tell ya.. I've never seen that car/him hold that much Angle/SPeed Great JOB ROB FALLOWS!

Sounds like you had a blast Todd. If I hadn't been in NJ at the Sport Compact Fall Nationals I would have been there.
