This is Doug. Here's what we did tonight. We jumped pins three and one on the relay. We installed an Ammeter between the two pins of the fuse to check for current draw. There was no current draw registering.
Next I went to my leads jumping the relay and there was power on both sides. That meant that the relay was bypassed on the controlled side and everything on the MFI circuit (except the ECU which wasn't plugged in) was powered and the current draw was not excessive. Next I jumped pins 4 and 2 and checked the ammeter again. If the ammeter had shown any amperage on it then that would have meant that the L-G wire leading to the computer was shorted to ground. It wasn't. Next I verifed this again by putting the test light to the pin four and to pin two. Again, if it were shorted then the light would have illuminated. It did not. This tells me that the only thing left is the computer internally shorting to ground. I'll be out here for a few so if anyone has anymore suggestions we'll check back in from time to time but I'm 99.9% sure now that the problem lies strickly in the ECU.
