I'll betch its between the mani and turbo..an exhaust leak there or at the wg passage would def cause slow spool. a vac line tear would cause it to overboost and idle weird.high. (which mine did today when the control line for the boost controler came off... I was like wow! oh! thats what 30psi feels like. no knock! (lucky)
+2 a well buttoned up 16G will hit full boost well by 3000. It almost spools too fast for my liking.. its like feed it any gas over 2500 rpm and blam! max boost .
Yep and when the steel or copper gaskets let go they like to lock down on the threads of the bolts going thu them... then you get to learn how to snap studs like a pro..Dave (shouldagottagsx) (could comment on that if he still existed)
