Ok guys, this almost didn't happen this year, but I just found out, it's on! This is the last/only AutoX held on a public road. Not only that, but the course is set up IN downtown Asheville, NC. I have raced in this event before and it is quite a unique experience. SCCA Solo2 classing/rules apply. See you guys out there.

After almost a full year of on again off again for the damn car, I finally get a few chances to get out and play. Missed the asheville meet. Guess what, my damn upper rubber shroud seal from the punishment kit got hot fell through and caused my radiator fan to jam and poof a nice cloud of smoke. Just after the second engine install from a balance shaft f up I get this. I swear this car hates me. If...big if I can get this damn fan replaced and shroud pieced together (praying the wiring didn't fucking burn all the way back) I hope to be there or the hillclimb next weekend.

Have fun you guys. that I'd be going but I busted the lsd in the GST.. ;( damnit. thing took a beating for 5 years and broke right before 3 events I wanted to run it at.

That sucks bro. It was a RIPGRIP from TRE right?

No it was WAVETRAC (Quaffie knockoff) from TRE. Rip Grip is an insert and well, I just wont use those. Not certain what will be going back in it yet. yep.. sucks.

Looks like I may not be able to make it either. What were the other events you were going to Todd. Did you see the hillclimb post next weekend? Was curious which you thought were the best to hit. I'm guessing Danville was one of the other 3.

YEs THat hillclimb is a cool event.. , Yep Danville and and the REdline time ATtack @ Sebring i'm proly gonna miss ;( All my cars need serious TLC i've been extremley hard on em the last year and 1/2

Interesting, I thought the Wavetrac was superior to the Quaife due to it's claimed ability to work under both acceleration and deceleration.

Well that part of its functionality was fine. but considering the beating I put on this LSD. I doubt a quaffie would have lasted any longer. I havn't pulled it out yet, I hope thats the only problem I have in there.
